Monaco - Monte Carlo - the host of the biggest Formula One event of the year and still the one the drivers most want to win. Whilst staying in the Principality during the Grand Prix couldn't be described as a cheaper option, it is for sure the most spectacular way to immerse yourself in the F1 weekend. Your alarm call being the sound of car exhausts blasting past your bedroom window really is a unique expeience.
The main reasons to stay in Monaco are to be IN the very heart of the action with the track literelly running through the streets. You can still get around though, the roads are open from 19:00 - 07:00 and there is still a lot to see and do in Monaco. One of our favourite restaurants has to be Café de Paris which is a hive of activity all the time, Café Sass is also excellent and the famous Tip Top (where many years ago the drivers all used to drink and have fun) is still good for casual dining. No matter what your budget you'll find fine-dining, casual dining and lots to see and do.
Our main Monaco property is The Fairmont Hotel, this property has just undergone a massive refurbishment programme and is now one of the most contemporary hotels in the South of France. Located ON the track right at the Loews Hairpin, the tunnel actually runs below rooms at this hotel. The most convenient way to enjoy the race is to stay at The Fairmont and view the Hairpin from one of our hospitality suites.
In addition to The Fairmont Hotel we offer the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel which is located further from the track but is an ideal base if you wish to watch the GP from a yacht, the yacht tenders can pick you up directly from this hotel and get you to the main Monaco harbour in under 10 minutes.
